Storipress First Impressions

Moving from WordPress

I'm in the process of leaving behind a hosting partner for WordPress and moving onto a new platform called Storipress. My first impressions are great! So far, I've been able to write and publish a variety of posts within about 2 weeks. I wanted to leave the past behind, but Storipress does offer an integration to import from WordPress. I am working from a clean slate because I am leaning more toward Unreal and DazStudio production vs photography.

With Storipress, I have been able to focus on working instead of constantly trying to figure out what was under the hood in WordPress and writing code to fix things. I was never happy with how bloated my old site had become, nor what it took to make simple updates. I had gotten to a point where I didn't want to use it because it would take me too long. I resorted to using Instagram without ever posting to the TorenCastle site.

I am working on a few things I don't understand with images, but overall, this has been the smoothest website I've worked with since I started with my first HTML sites years ago. While there is a coding option, I've not touched it or have needed to touch it yet. Maybe later, but for now, I feel like I have 95% of my old site without all the bloated issues of the old site.
