The 5th image for the 2023 Halloween Countdown
Day 5 of the Halloween Countdown 2023 brings us "The Dark". I always love the line that goes something like this: "I'm not afraid of the dark. I'm afraid of what's in the dark!". This is what I was thinking when I pulled this one together. The challenge is, we need to see something, and it cannot be a pitch-black screen.
I always follow a consistent pattern - check out what I have from Daz by looking through their website, then build out the scene, then place the camera and lightning, and finally render.
This guy is a fun one! I want to attempt to do something in Unreal Engine with this one! You can barely make him out in the Iray preview.
The final render looks a little more doable.
And with some Photoshop and Lightroom tying it all together, it is ready for Instagram.
There you have it! A wicked big beastie to contend with on a cold October night! I'm not so sure we could outrun this fella...
