The 15th image for the 2023 Halloween Countdown
I did not know what I wanted for "Strangers" on the 15th day of the Halloween Countdown 2023 Project. Stranger Things immediately came to mind, but these characters, FPE Faceless for Genesis 8 and 8.1 by Esid and FenixPhoenix on the Daz, store grabbed my attention.
This was one of those scenes that comes to life on its own. As you work through these sometimes, things just pop into your mind and you play. I remember I really wanted a certain look and this basically came into being.
It is one of those that are open for interpretation. Can he see them as he comforts her, or does he think she is crazy? Adding in the multiple characters allowed me to play with the chaos and use the different expressions available for this set.
I loved seeing the emotion on her face, and not clearly knowing if he was part of it. He could be adding to it. He could be controlling the figures she is seeing or feeling. It could be an open interpretation of her feelings and anguish.
It is one of the ones I think might be more cinematic by using a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of the 5:4 for Instagram.
I do love how sometimes I'll find a setting in Lightroom that makes an image pop. I think that was the case here. I truly feel something with this one and love it! I think I'd like to know more about their story.
