The 14th image for the 2023 Halloween Countdown
Care for a sip to cure what ails you? It won't cost much...
"Elixer" was the 14th image prompt for the Halloween Countdown 2023 project - 31 images throughout October ending on Halloween.
As with all my images, I think about the prompt and envision different scenarios that might occur that are related to the keyword. Then I search the Daz store (and others) for assets that might work for the ideas I have. Once those assets are noted, I head into Daz Studio and build out the scene.
I typically have the camera in place while I am building the scene, but not always. Once the scene is set up, then I finalize the camera angle and focus.
Then I start messing with the lighting and use the Iray preview to establish the final look I want to achieve. It's a back-and-forth between Iray and Textured view for me most of the time. Textured view allows me to quickly make adjustments that are too slow while in Iray preview.
Once I have everything the way I like I like it, I set up and perform the final render.
Finally, I move into Photoshop and Lightroom for the adjustments that add spice to the image. Disney always thought about Plusing what they did. I like to think I do try to do that in the end for Instagram.
There you have it. Now... Will you take a sip? I do not know what it will cost you, but I hear it might not be worth it...
